Alone in Foreign StreetsThere is a man, alone but for a sad  Slouch and a look begging his solitude.  Even the hollow slap of his shoes on  The concrete resounds with unhappiness.   
All around him, people continue with  Their own lives- shopping with a friend, fighting  With a spouse, spitting as they smoke a first  Cigarette.  Not one sees this lonely man,   
With his wounded gaze.  After a short while  It begins to rain, but the man only  Continues as before- now a little  Faster, now a little slower. Alone in Foreign Streets

     He ascended the stairs, stopping at odd intervals to cough and rub his nose.  Each time it was the same:  he’d stop, let out a little cough into his clenched digits, and resume his otherwise steady pace up the stairs.  Not once did the young man cough and leave his nose unrubbed, but neither did it seem a conscious decision for him to rub his nose each time he coughed.  Rather, the act seemed just as natural and essential to him as breathing.  Once he stopped without coughing, his hand hovering over a pocket for a moment, but whatever hi Communication
